2024 was just the beginning; I’m expanding my business and exploring Website Design and Development’s full potential in 2025. I’m also developing impactful software and furthering my personal and professional growth through networking and expanding my skillset as a developer.
Hello! I’m Nathanial, a Wisconsin-based small business owner with ADHD. My journey from website building and content creation to becoming an official business owner a few years ago has been incredible! It’s been a challenge staying focused and organized at times, but I’ve found ways to work with my ADHD and make it a strength. I hope this inspires you to set goals, stay accountable, and keep moving forward, no matter what challenges you face.
I’m gonna learn a ton of new stuff and meet a bunch of new people to help me grow! Join me on my journey as I strive to stay motivated and perhaps inspire you along the way.
Business Growth: Scaling New Heights in 2025
To enhance the long-term sustainability of my business and income, I need to implement strategies that will optimize my operations and improve my financial standing. This includes actively seeking new networking opportunities, attending more industry events, and collaborating with local businesses on innovative projects.
I will leverage my time and financial resources by implementing effective marketing strategies to promote my business and personal brand, while being mindful of my ADHD tendencies.
WordPress Innovations: Pushing the Boundaries
WordPress is constantly evolving and expanding, even amidst challenges within the community. It is this community that sustains WordPress as a valuable resource for businesses, bloggers, and all its users. Often, the most potent tools are those initially created for other purposes. Last year, I pushed WordPress to new limits by adapting it for classroom use and optimizing it for speed. I intend to continue this exploration by utilizing WordPress for client websites and projects, transforming their visions into reality.

The following section will explain why WordPress is an amazing platform and why it will continue to experience growth.
- Community Support: The large and active WordPress community provides help and resources for users of all levels
- Versatility: WordPress can be used to create a wide variety of websites, from simple blogs to complex e-commerce sites
- Ease of Use: WordPress is relatively easy to use, even for those with no prior web development experience
- Customizability: WordPress can be customized to meet the specific needs of any website or business
- Open Source: WordPress is open source software, which means it is free to use and modify
Software Development: Crafting Solutions for the Future
The rapid evolution of software development shows no signs of slowing down in 2025. AI is not just a tool; it’s becoming integral to the development environment itself, from intelligent code editors to AI-powered coding assistants like GitHub Copilot.
The emergence of AI chat applications and VS Code forks like Cursor further amplifies the transformative potential of AI in coding. While the abundance of new frameworks, libraries, and coding kits offers endless possibilities, it also creates a challenge: navigating the vast and rapidly changing landscape requires constant learning and adaptation.
I’m currently using Tabnine because it strikes a good balance between being a great VS Code copilot and not being a fork, but that could change anytime as there are many tools out there; you just have to find what works best for you. But remember to not rely on it too much, as it can still create errors and bad code.
My Toolkit for Success: Resources and Strategies
I rely on a mix of Apple Reminders and Jira to wrangle my tasks and projects, but I’m always open to exploring new tools that might bring a bit more structure to my ADHD brain. This year, I’ve started using Toggl to track my time and maintain a healthy balance between work and play. As a business owner with ADHD, it’s easy to get hyperfocused on work or slip into excessive downtime, so finding that equilibrium is crucial for preventing burnout.

Remember, “A fool with a tool is still a fool,” so find what works for you and don’t be afraid to experiment with new strategies and systems. But also, don’t feel pressured to “fix” what’s not broken – if something is working well, stick with it.
